Happy 2025 to my big beautiful family!
Aren’t we so lucky to have Nancy, putting our stories up for all of us to enjoy. Our Weave the Web will last forever, long into the future for generations to come.
My every day life does not include adventures to share, so I went way back to my childhood for this. I am guessing that this came about when I was 13 or 14 years old. I was introduced to a story I loved and decided to memorize it. The story is Gerald McBoing Boing. People seemed impressed that I could recite the entire story with no help. Too bad my memory fails regarding why I did this.
Fast forward to adulthood, and I continue to recite this story for my own children and then to the grandchildren. Even at parties I was asked to recite it. So to keep it in the family I decided to share this with all of you. Maybe one of you will take on the task of memorizing it. I love the story and the rhyming. I never knew until now that this was written by Dr. Seuss! Maybe one of you already knows it. Maybe one of you will learn it and put it on our site for this Christmas. Let’s keep it alive. Hope you all enjoy this as much as I do.
