Nancy was born in New Rochelle, NY on July 7, 1944 where she joined her parents, Beverly and Buzz Webster, and her older sister, Carol in their home in Pelham Manor, N.Y.  AFter moving to London, England for two years, the family settled in Scarsdale, NY, where Nancy grew up.  She attended Hollins College in Roanoke, VA where she received a BA in sociology with a minor in philosophy & religion.  She married Howard Thomas Ware III and they raised three sons, Michael, Arthur, and Haden in Connecticut.  Nancy became a teacher, and after her divorce, she moved to California where she met Loren Craig Hickman.  She retired after 30 years of teaching in 2007 and is loving retired life in San Franciso.
